A beautiful house portrait hand cut and printed from lino just for you. Whether a house portrait of the family home for Mother's Day or a print of your best friend's new home, each print is custom made.

All I need is a photograph or several photos to work from. I can mix and match from different photos to create your perfect house portrait! I can work from a photograph or street view, adding pets or text if desired.
You will be involved at every step of the process to ensure that the print is exactly as you like!

After sketching out the portrait, I use Pfeil tools to carve the lino block. This is then printed using professional quality Cranfield Caligo inks.

Additional copies are available in my Etsy shop so every member of the family can have their own print.

COLOUR OPTIONS

I mix the inks myself, so I can match to a colour swatch or wall colour if desired. Just attach a picture with the house photo!

Single colour prints - the design is carved from lino and printed in a single colour - just message me with your colour choice.

Colour Pop Door - the design is carved from a lino block before the door is cut out and the two pieces are printed in contrasting colours. Just tell me your choices when you send me images.

Two colour prints - This house portrait is printed in two layers. The areas to be left white are cut first, before the lightest colour is printed. The block is cut once more before the darkest layer is printed. I can advise with colour choices if needed or just let me know what you have in mind!

SIZES

The design is printed on acid free paper.
Square prints measure 15cm x 15cm, centred on a4 size paper.
Rectangular prints measure 20cm x 15 cm, centred on a4 size paper.
Large rectangular prints measure 20 x 30cm centred on A3 paper.

FRAMING

Please note the print is sent unframed however a range of frames are made to the size of the paper. Alternatively, there is enough white space around the print to trim if necessary.

To start your custom lino print all I need is a photo! Tell me what you have in mind and I will design your perfect print. Some customers ask for elements to be added, removed or exaggerated. Text can be added. The design process is entirely collaborative so you get the result you want!
First, I draw the design onto a lino block before cutting it out using cutting tools. The block is inked up and put through my printing press. The fresh print takes around 48 hours to dry.
Throughout the process I send photos and updates and may ask questions. Please look out for this communication as it will speed up the process!

On average an order takes 10 days from putting the order through to dispatch.
When you put your order through I try to get the drawing onto a lino block the same or the next day and I send you a photo before starting to cut anything out.
The carving process can take anything from 1 day to 5 days, depending on how many orders I am working on (and how well my youngest child naps!)
Once the design is printed, it takes around 48 hours to dry. Delivery time depends on which postage option you have chosen.
