Highlights
Kodak Brownie Flash Six-20 Camera Accent Lamp.
I found this old relic with all its parts and pieces and decided it needed a new purpose. I have rewired with about 5 feet of twisted brown cloth cord, added a dimmer switch and juiced it up with a short amount of red cloth wire. The bulb is included (along with an extra spare bulb) and has a candelabra base. Total height is 9 1/2" tall.
A little history. This camera was originally manufactured in 1940 by the Kodak Company and sold for $4.25. In 1946 it was re branded the “Brownie Flash Six-20” and the price went up to $5.90.
Up-cycled and re purposed, I believe it makes a wonderful side table lamp and conversation piece. The shutter still “clicks” and film advance wheel turns. Sorry, the sky detectives book is not included.
