What is the turn-around time for your items? Can you guarantee a delivery date?

Orders are shipped Monday-Friday. All my items are handmade and are made to order. During busy seasons (July, August, December) the processing timeframe may be longer. All listings will reflect the correct shipping timeframe. Due to circumstances out of my control, I cannot guarantee delivery dates. If you need your order shipped quickly, feel free to contact me for options. Generally, domestic first-class shipping is 3-7 days and domestic priority mail is 1-3 days per the USPS but not guaranteed. Most international is 15-45 days. This does not include the timeframe to make the item prior to shipping. Thank you!

Styles. What is a non-breakaway, breakaway, or a side release?

Styles to choose from: • Non-Breakaway: This is a regular lanyard that has a complete loop around your neck. You slip it on and off over your head. • Breakaway: This lanyard has a safety “breakaway” piece on the back of the neck. A tug on the lanyard and the lanyard “breaks away”. If you need a triple breakaway, add note to personalization box or note to seller at checkout. • Side Release: This lanyard has a buckle at the bottom of the lanyard so you can easily remove the lower half. It automatically comes with the breakaway at the back of the neck. If multiple color options are available, it will be listed. Example: Side release gold means a gold side release buckle. If you don't want a breakaway leave seller a note.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Lanyards & badge reels come in a small organza bag. I include an packing slip in the envelope however the cost of the item has been removed. Generally, all items are shipped in a bubble wrap envelope with the postage label on the outside. Gift wrapping is offered for an additional fee. Wrapping paper is silver, gold or rose gold foil currently. You can add it on during checkout. If you want multiple items gift wrapped, please add gift wrap per item. If you want items shipped to separate addresses, please place separate orders per address.

Do you send an invoice/packing slip with each order?

Yes, I include a packing slip with each order. This helps me assure I am shipping the correct item. The price has been removed in case the item is a gift. It shows the buyers name/address, item purchased and any notes to the seller. If you do not want a packing slip included in your order, please leave a note to seller at the time of purchase or mark it as a gift. If you marked that the item was a gift it will print any message, you type out for the individual as well.

What sizes are the lanyards?

Most lanyards are 5/8" wide and average 20” (40” total circle) long not including the hardware. The listing will say what size is shown. If you would like it to be a skinny lanyard (1/2”) or a thicker lanyard (1”) please send a note to seller during checkout for no additional charge. Also, if you would like the lanyard to be shorter, please send a message to seller during checkout. The most common sizes are 18”, 19”, 20” and 21”. Most listings have a personalization box where you can specify changes needed. If you don't see it, just send me a message and I'll add it to your order.

The best way to determine the correct length for you is to drape a loose measuring tape around the back of your neck and bring the ends together where you want your lanyard to lay. This measurement does not include your ID or hardware, so it will be longer once those are added on. If you already have a lanyard lay it flat on a table, measure from the back of the neck to the tip of the hardware to determine the length.

Lanyards can be machine washed. HOWEVER, the hardware may tarnish or oxidize when exposed to water. If you choose to machine wash your items use cold water on a delicate cycle. Air dry and use an iron as needed. You may also spot clean the items. All badge reels need to be spot cleaned only. You can also scotch guard to your items to help repeal dirt and stains.

Most listings have a personalization box. Use this box to make small changes to your lanyard. You can change the color of hardware. Options are silver, rose gold, gold, gunmetal black. You can change the length of your lanyard. Standard size is 20" long not including hardware or 18" long if you choose a matching badge reel. Please see above to determine the correct length for you. You can change the width of your lanyard. Standard size is 5/8". A skinny lanyard is 1/2". *Note: Skinny may not be the best on some prints as it will not show off the design.

What is a lanyard with matching badge reel?

Another style to choose is if you would like a matching or coordinated badge reel on some listings. The drop-down menu will give you the option to add a badge reel. The badge reel is a belt clip with a small ring on top to hook to lanyards keyring. You can easily remove it from lanyard and wear the badge reel alone. If you prefer an alligator reel instead, reach out to seller to see if it is available. Some reels are prepared ahead of orders to help expedite the processing timeframe and may not be available as an alligator clip.

This is my 3rd lanyard from this shop. I have had one of my lanyards for multiple years and I'm only replacing because I want to change the pattern. I'm a special education teacher.
