This is a lot of 4 antique red hardcover books. Subjects include baseball, fiction, and Greek lessons. They are perfect to decorate your bookshelves, dresser, library, office, or anywhere you want! Let's face it--old books look good anywhere! I use them on my display shelves to add color and height (put them under a frame or other piece). I sometimes group like colors together and sometimes mix them up. Great price for a great collection.

All the books have been well loved and show wear and tear for their age. Some are in better condition than the others. All are still readable, but I do recommend them for decorative use to prevent any further deterioration. Book copyright dates are from 1896 to the 1950s!!!

Books:

First Greek Book--copyright 1896!, actually in good condition for it's age, there is discoloring and fading to the cover, rubbing to all corners of cover, has a lean to it like it has been sitting for years under weight (it probably has), writing on page edges, writing inside cover, spine intact and still tight, pages may have writing or some stains, but overall in good condition

Jorli--copyright 1926, in poor condition, the spine is loose and there are some loose pages, beautiful illustrated cover, cover has peeling and rubbing to all corners and some edges, pages may have some discoloring, but I did not see any writing on them, pages are in good condition visually (just the front ones are loose and others could become loose if mishandled)

Barefoot Boy with Cheek--copyright 1944, overall in decent condition, discoloring and rubbing to corners and edges of cover, top part of spine has been torn away, stamp on side cover, pages have a raw edge (made that way), some writing on pages, spine intact and no loose pages, some pages are illustrated

The Big League Baseball Library--copyright 1950, tape around spine (may have been a library book at one point), fading and small writing on cover and spine, rubbing and peeling on corners and edges of cover, spine starting to tear at front and back, but all pages are still in tact, writing on side cover, pages have a raw edge (made that way), pages may have stains or discoloring, but overall pages look good
