This shawl is beautifully made. It smelled like perfume and I had to air it out (I don't tolerate perfumes), but other than that I'm very happy with it.

I love it! I wanted to make my own for the longest time but I just don’t have the dexterity for it. This is definitely the next best thing. I didn’t even realize it was coming from Ireland. I’ve been doing a lot of genealogy research lately to trace my families roots and they come from the same region. It has an immediate special feel wearing it. I will say I did have to soak it in water and vinegar and then give it a good shampoo and conditioner rinse because the woolite type wash they used had a scent I couldn’t handle but I don’t use any scented products so I’m extra sensitive. A quick wash did the trick and even made it softer and more luxurious feeling anyway so still happy with it. ☺️ Thanks

This poncho was a birthday gift for my daughter-in-law. Since it was wrapped so beautifully I never got to see it but my daughter-in-law absolutely loved it and sent me her review which follows. “I received this fabulous poncho as a gift from my mother in law. It is absolutely gorgeous! The deep navy color is speckled with other subtle colors giving the navy blue a vibrancy that is so pretty. It is both light weight and also very warm. I am plus size and this was a flattering cut yet a loose relaxed fit. Super cozy and also can be dressed up with a scarf and accessories. It is also very well made and will last me a lifetime! I highly recommend this sweater.”
