This lovely soft dark green alpaca is a bestseller in my standard size tams, so I've knitted it up into a larger diameter, full-on Scottish Highlander tam here, after getting lots of requests for them.

Perfect for re-enactors, this size is 12.5" diameter and falls nicely over the ears with its extended 'droop' for an authentic look. The colour is a heathery deep green, flecked with bits of blue and brown, very much like the highlands themselves. Knitted from soft pure alpaca, this is great for keeping warm but still very light, so easy to pop in a pocket.

My regular size shown here is 23" circumference head size with a little stretch built in, but I'll be happy to make larger or smaller if you need, just leave me a note at checkout and I'll make sure yours is a good fit.

I have made a few other colours in these: grey, charcoal, hazel brown, coffee brown, black, airforce blue, navy and maroon at present, but if you'd prefer any other colour from my standard alpaca tams range (they are 11" diameter) then just drop me a message, and I'll be happy to make a custom order in this size for you.

This tam has a rolled and stitched hem at the edge for easy styling. To care for it, hand wash it and dry it flat.
