Oatmeal contains saponins which are natural cleansers, making it a great choice for soaps! It is gently exfoliating and removes dirt and oil naturally. Oatmeal is also rich in vitamins and minerals and is a perfect choice for dry skin due to it's moisturizing properties.

Zinc oxide (non nano) is also well known to be soothing to skin and is the main active ingredient in many diaper rash formulas.
