⚠️🚚 FAILED DELIVERY DUE TO BUYER RESPONSIBILITY

✍️ All shipments require a signature upon delivery. 📞 Providing a valid phone number is strongly recommended to ensure a smooth and reliable delivery process. If the courier is unable to deliver the parcel (for example due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or because the recipient is absent or unreachable), the shipment will be held at the local facility for collection. If not collected within the allowed time, it will be returned to the sender. ↩️ RESHIPMENT → Shipping costs and any return-related fees are the responsibility of the buyer. 🚫 CANCELLATION → A refund will be issued only after the parcel has been returned, deducting the original shipping costs and any return-related expenses (where applicable). ⚠️ In case of loss or damage during the return transit, a refund may not be possible, subject to verification of the case.

🚫🚚 REFUSAL OF DELIVERY / 💥📦 VISIBLY DAMAGED PARCEL UPON DELIVERY

If the delivery is refused without a valid reason (for example, refusal to pay customs duties where applicable, change of mind, etc.), a refund will be issued only after the order has been returned, deducting: the shipping costs, any return fees or customs duties where applicable. ⚠️ In case of loss or damage during the return transit, a refund may not be possible, subject to verification of the case. 🚫 WHEN YOU CAN REFUSE DELIVERY 💥 Only if the parcel appears visibly damaged or tampered with upon delivery 📸 Ask the courier to take a photo of the parcel (with the shipping label clearly visible). ✍️ If possible, have the reason for refusal noted on the delivery slip. 📩 Send me the information and photos right away. ➡️ We will agree together on a refund or replacement depending on the situation.

📦↩️ RETURN & REFUND POLICY FOR NON-CUSTOM ORDERS

Returns are accepted within 14 calendar days from delivery, with prior communication. Refunds will be issued once the item has been received and verified. Please note that any customs duties or import taxes paid directly to the carrier or local authorities are non-refundable, as they are not collected by the seller. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. For returns from non-EU countries, any return-related expenses, administrative fees, and re-import duties will be deducted from the refund. Items must be returned intact, complete, and properly packed as received. In case of damage, missing parts, or loss during return transit, a refund may not be possible. For this reason, I strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method and, for shipments from outside the EU, a service with duties prepaid (DDP).

🎨↩️ RETURNS/REFUNDS FOR CUSTOMIZED ORDERS

IMPORTANT: Selecting colours, sizes, or other options available in the listing does not cancel your right to return. A custom item is one that has been uniquely and personally modified (engravings, dedications, structural or decorative alterations) and cannot be resold to others. For this reason, it cannot be returned or refunded, except if it arrives damaged. In such case, the same conditions as stated in the “Damaged Goods” section (FAQ below) will apply.

💥📦 DAMAGED GOODS / ⏳📦 LOST PACKAGE

If eligible under Etsy Purchase Protection, Etsy may handle the refund directly in both cases. In parallel, I reserve the right to file a claim with my own insurance if the shipment is covered. 💥 Damaged goods: Please contact me within 7 days of delivery. Send clear photos of the damage, the packaging, and the shipping label. Keep all items and packaging until the case is fully resolved. You may choose between a refund or a replacement, subject to verification. Failure to provide the requested information or cooperation may affect eligibility for a refund. ⏳ Lost package: An order is generally considered lost after 35 business days from the last tracking update. At the customer’s request, I can open a verification with the carrier or insurance company in case of extended delays or inactive tracking. If the investigation confirms the loss, a refund will be issued. Orders with tracking marked “delivered” are not considered lost, subject to verification of the case.

🛠️🔍 PACKAGING / USE & CARE / GENERAL DETAILS

I use specific packaging designed to protect the ceramics during transport. Unpack carefully to avoid damaging both the piece and the packaging, and keep it for at least 21 days: in case of return, the packaging is the buyer’s responsibility. Each made-to-order item is unique, with slight variations compared to the photos; these differences are normal and reflect the unique value of handmade work and the Raku technique. Ready-to-ship pieces correspond exactly to the images. Ceramics are delicate: avoid impacts, falls, and improper use. Do not pour aggressive or colored chemicals. Clean only by hand with mild detergents. Not suitable for direct contact with food, except for certain cases (foods with peel/wrapping, dry goods, or items protected in food-safe bags).

🛃📦 DUTIES & CUSTOMS

🇪🇺 EUROPEAN UNION → No customs duties or additional charges upon delivery. 🇺🇸 UNITED STATES → All orders are shipped using DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). This means that all customs duties, taxes, and import fees are already included in the price. ➡️ No additional charges will be required upon delivery. If you are unexpectedly asked to pay any import charges, please contact me before proceeding. I will assist you in resolving the issue. 🌍 REST OF THE WORLD → Local taxes or customs duties may apply. These charges vary by country and are the responsibility of the buyer. 💰 HOW MUCH ARE THEY? For my type of items (artistic ceramics), duties are generally estimated between 5% and 15% of the declared value, plus any local taxes applied by each country. Feel free to contact me for an estimate specific to your location.

💵↩️ CAN I CANCEL AN ORDER?

Each of my creations is handmade and often made to order, so I usually start working on your item shortly after receiving your order. If you wish to cancel, I will review your request and do my best to accommodate you, but any costs for time and materials already incurred will be deducted from the amount. 💳🔄 To offer greater flexibility, any retained amount may be converted into a store credit valid for 30 calendar days. The credit is for single use only, valid exclusively in my shop, non-transferable, non-combinable, and cannot be exchanged, refunded, or converted into cash or any other form of monetary value. It is valid only for the original delivery address or for other addresses within the same country. A minimum order value may apply, depending on the amount of the credit.
