**This is a Made to Order Item.**
**I strive to make made to order spindles resemble the ones in the pictures but it isn't always possible to do because of the nature of wood. One piece of wood takes the dye colors differently than another piece of wood. This is true in every case, so each spindle is slightly different than the next one. Also, wood that is left natural such as black walnut is going to vary in lightness, darkness, grain patterning and such.
I'm excited to introduce an all new top whorl drop spindle that I call "The Dragon Fly"! The whorl is a modified version of a Peruvian Chac-chac so it makes the same signature click-clack sound of the Chac-chac when in motion. This is a lightweight spindle capable of spinning very fine singles. The whorl is turned from Ash and the shaft is turned from maple hardwood. Both are hand-dyed.
The hook is hand made from copper.
