Gift wrapping and packaging

Checking the 'this item is a gift' option at checkout will mean I do not include an itemised receipt, and not that it is gift wrapped (gift wrap is a separate add-on option). When I send packages outside of the UK legally I need to declare the value of the contents on the outside of the package, which may undermine your wishes regarding this - something to keep in mind. Note that I do not tend to include receipts with orders unless requested at checkout as a measure of saving paper. Etsy will email you a digital receipt after checkout. You can leave a note at checkout if you wish for a physical receipt to be posted to you.

Items on screen vs. in real life

I do my best to accurately represent how an item looks in my photos regarding colour, but be aware that there may be slight variations to colour on your screen vs. the actual product. Monitors and phone screens tend to have minor variations in the colours they display and I unfortunately cannot account for this difference across all devices. However, if you feel that the colour of something you received is wholly unexpected, please do get in touch.

I'm in the UK - when will my order arrive?

Please account for the processing time on top of the shipping time - my standard processing time is 1-3 business days but certain custom listings can take longer. I use Royal Mail 2nd class mail; you can expect your item within 4 business days of receiving the dispatch email (however it can occasionally take somewhat longer), or upgrade to 1st class mail (Royal Mail aims for 1 business day). If your order is more than ten business days late in arriving please don't hesitate to get in touch with me. You are also welcome to get in touch in advance of placing an order if you require something more urgently. I may be able to accommodate a faster production and ship date, circumstances depending!

Resending orders/Customer returns

RETURNS: I accept returns; buyers pay for return costs. Contact me within 30 days of receiving your order to arrange a return. I highly recommend using a tracked method of posting to return an item. RESENDING: If an item is returned to me due to an insufficient/incorrect address being provided at checkout, or the item has been returned due to it not being collected from the post office/unpaid custom or handling fees - I am happy to resend it with the further postage cost being covered by the buyer. I can otherwise refund the order in full. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS AT CHECKOUT, ESPECIALLY IF THIS IS A GIFT BEING SENT DIRECTLY THE RECIPIENT.

I'm in the USA - how do these tariffs work?

Usually tariffs are charged to the customer upon import. The USA is doing things a little differently by only accepting DDP (Delivered Duties Paid) mail, so I need to collect the tariff cost at the point of sale and then remit it to the USA government. I have rolled the costs into my USA shipping profiles. This means that the price you pay at checkout includes the tariff charge and handling fee (approx. 70¢ per order), and you will not be charged anything further upon import. The majority of my shop has the baseline 10% tariff applied to it for UK-made goods, with some exceptions: - Washi tape will incur a 30% tariff - Greetings cards, art prints and original illustrations are exempt and will incur only single handling fee per order.

Ink jet printed on 245gsm Pinnacle Fine Art Watercolour stock, this print has a matte finish and is lightly textured to the touch. The paper allows for a high quality print with sharp detail, vibrant colours and deep blacks. Signed and titled "Rainy Day in Bird Kingdom" on the reverse.

This artist is fantastic and I ordered a bunch of their items. I’ve got a fantasy themed office and goblin bathroom and I’ve hung up 5 or so pieces of their art. Everyone loves them and I get a lot of compliments. They messaged about possible delays despite it delivering on time and had an amazing thank you message with hand drawn doodles on the packaging.
