Mounted vs Unmounted Prints

Mounted prints are recommended for the large sizes. Mounting the photo on a Styrene board (approximately 1/8" thick") helps prevent damage or creasing during framing. Both unmounted and mounted prints must be framed before hanging.

How are prints and canvases shipped?

My products are shipping in protective packaging, the packaging depends on the product and size ordered. Any item damaged in shipment will be promptly replaced.

How large can you print?

Most of my photos can be printed as a mounted print or canvas in sizes up to 10' (10 FEET!) wide. Please contact me with the size needed and the photo you like, and I'll figure it out.

Where are your products made?

My prints, canvases and wood prints are all produced by professional print labs in the United States.

Are these your photos or stock photography?

These are all my personal photos, the products of my life-long obsession with my hobby of photography.

Why are your canvases better?

My canvases and float framed canvases are produced by a professional print lab, using solid wood stretcher bars and frames. They are then securely packed for transit. Although damage in shipping is rare, it does happen once in a while. If your canvas is damaged, just contact me for a replacement.

✷UNFRAMED - CANVAS WRAP: Museum grade canvas, archival inks, 1.25" depth (front to back), beautiful corners, ready to hang.

✷FLOAT FRAMED CANVAS WRAP: The same canvas wrap with wood "float frame". Solid wood float frames are 1.75" deep (front to back), with corner bumpers and hanging hardware installed. Float frames are available in black and walnut (brown).

✷PRINT - MUST BE FRAMED: Professionally printed on Kodak ENDURA professional photo paper with a fine grain pebble texture. Must be framed (Hobby Lobby, local framer, DIY frame, etc.)

✷MOUNTED PHOTO PRINT: Photo is mounted on 3/16" foamcore backing, a rigid mounting substrate that is resistant to warping, making it an excellent choice for adding durability to prints. Especially recommended for large prints, and is usually framed (Hobby Lobby, local framer, DIY frame, etc.)

Most items require 3-4 business days for production, but production times may be extended during holiday seasons. Items are shipped in protective boxes or stiff mailing envelopes with tracking. Normal shipping times are 2-3 days, but may be longer during holiday seasons.
