We are all different - our neck sizes and shoulder structure vary!
To get YOUR perfect fit, measure a current necklace you own, or take a piece of string (or cord, ribbon, etc.) and wrap it around your neck where you desire the necklace to be - and then measure with a ruler or soft measuring tape, and order accordingly!
**If you’re buying as a gift - you’re guessing! The ‘safest’ and average length is a 18” chain (and you can also purchase an extender/adjuster to be included with the order, i.e., 16” + 2” extender, or 18” + 2” extender)

♥ Only single-sided customizations can be done, because there is always slight evidence of the impression on the other side, which is normal with hand stamping - because a jewelers’ hammer is used to impress each character onto the pendant.

Upgrading your shipping does not change the processing time (time it takes me to create it before shipping) - it only upgrades your shipping time. I work through orders in my queue in a chronological order (within my advertised timeframe), and then ship according to the shipping option selected.

- - - QUALITY MATERIALS - - -
⋒ GOLD FILLED jewelry consists of a substantial layer of genuine karat gold bonded to a base core metal of brass, using extremely high temperatures and pressure. To be considered gold filled, the piece must consist of a legally regulated standard minimum percentage of genuine karat gold (1/20 of the total metal weight). I use high quality 14k or 18k gold filled materials, which exceeds the minimum industry standard. Ironically, the name “gold filled” is a slightly confusing industry name, since all of the genuine karat gold is layered on the outside, not the inside. Gold filled jewelry is hypoallergenic and tarnish resistant, and suitable for those with sensitive skin. Gold filled is NOT the same as gold plated - gold plated items often do not consist of any actual gold (and if it does, it is in microscopic amounts). All of my jewelry is free of toxic heavy metals (like nickel, cadmium and lead) which are often found in jewelry with plated finishes. Both yellow gold filled and rose gold filled contain karat gold, but it is the combination of metals that are added to the alloy that change the colour to either “yellow” or “rose”. Rose alloy is a mix of gold and copper, to give off a unique rich colour - what some refer to as “pink or red.” Yellow alloy is a mix of gold and a lower percentage of copper, silver, zinc, etc. Gold filled is second only to solid gold in terms of quality, however the affordability of gold filled jewelry makes it much more accessible.
⋒ STERLING SILVER is what is created when soft pure silver is blended with another alloy, in order to make the resulting compound more durable. Genuine sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver, and the other 7.5% is copper or another metal. My sterling silver is bonded with copper, and history has shown that copper is the most suitable bonding metal as it improves the silver’s hardness and durability without affecting its colour. Sterling silver is NOT the same as silver plated - silver plated items often do not consist of any actual silver (and if it does, it is in microscopic amounts). All of my jewelry is free of toxic heavy metals (like nickel, cadmium and lead) which are often found in jewelry with plated finishes. Signs of oxidation and tarnishing on all sterling silver is completely normal and natural and to be expected, and unfortunately no sterling silver is exempt from the occurrence of tarnishing. However, how quickly and how often it tarnishes depends on various factors - including environment, air quality and humidity, the chemistry of your skin, and care methods. Some people’s skin chemistry or care methods may mean they need to polish more often and/or use stronger polishers. Most have great success with the blue cloths, but I also have white “pro polishing pads” in the shop which work great on any of the tougher cases with sterling silver! Amongst all of the care recommendations, regular polishing is very important with sterling silver.

Gold Filled & Sterling Silver jewelry are some of the highest quality options for jewelry! Remember though, jewelry is composed of lovely metals, so it does best when treated carefully. You will find that with proper care, the wear & tear process is much slower, and your jewelry’s beauty and longevity will be best maintained. Care tips are included with each purchase! The basics: avoid excess exposure to moisture, and keep from contact with chemicals from products such as perfumes, oils, creams, soaps, shampoos, sunscreens, and sprays. Avoid wearing in swimming pools, hot tubs, spas, and salt water. Polish regularly with the polishing cloth included. When not wearing, store airtight. Go ahead and wear your jewelry regularly - your piece was made with love and meant to be worn with love!

♥ Layering necklaces is the absolute best!
All of my pieces are perfect to be worn solo, or layered with eachother for a pretty but subtle statement. Leaving 2-4” between each necklace is pretty common, but definitely not a hard and fast rule! It comes down to preference and what styles you’re combining. Always make
sure to measure yourself to get your perfect fit!

♥ I am so thankful for each and every order placed through my little shop! Please keep in mind that I hand make each customized item to order (with lots of love!) and package every piece personally. Since my jewelry is hand stamped and every character (letter, number, or design) is impressed one by one, all items are original and no two are exactly the same. I am creating a physical impression into the metal - by personally tapping each character’s steel shaft from the top, with a jewellers’ hammer (see my photo on my home page! it’s a fun process!) I consistently strive for quality in creating these meaningful, handmade pieces. With hand stamping, there is some variance as every character is impressed individually. As with all handcrafted jewelry, this gives each piece its unique look and beautiful charm.

13mm discs:
- Font 1 can fit 8-9 characters max across (lowercase)
- Fonts 2,3,6,9 can fit 4 characters max across (lowercase)
- Fonts 4 or 7 are the only options to fit a full date (must be 00.00.00 format or shorter) in bottom edge or centered customizations
- Font 4 is recommended for all bottom edge customizations (or font 1 or 7 if no tail letters g,j,p,q,y)
- Font 4 is the only option for full Roman Numerals (font 9 is too large)
- Font 5 can fit 4-6 characters max across (all lowercase font)
- Font 7 can fit 7 characters max across (lowercase)
- Font 8 monograms: 1 letter max (centered)
- Font 10: can fit 5 characters across
- Extra Designs: can fit any design (sizes vary- see Design Options page) *If you would like multiples on one disc, message me first to confirm if it’s doable!
- Birth Flowers: one flower per pendant (and they are quite fitted, may run off the edge in some cases, or go over / come close to hole)
6mm discs:
- Can fit any 1 applicable uppercase or lowercase initial or included design from font 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, or 10 (or font 4 in lowercase can fit 1-3 initials)
- Extra Designs: heart 1, any heart from set of 3 (or 3-4 tiny hearts max), paw print, star, rainbow, little bear
