How do I get my horse hair or ash to you?

Once you purchase an item, I will email you (via Etsy) my mailing address. Once the hair or ash arrives, I will confirm arrival. :). Typically, I start your handmade piece within a day or two of arrival.

What if I can't choose a color for my pet ash or horse hair jewelry?

Don't worry! This is common. You can choose 'I need a note' and write your color choices in the order notes. I will send some color swatches to you via email, and help you choose a color. :)

How much hair or ash do you need for each piece?

For horse hair - it is best to review each listing, as it varies. For pet ash- I need approximately a teaspoon. The best way to send it is to double ziplock it!

I do not offer returns due to each piece being custom made. If you have issues with your piece, please message me!

International Shipping - Please Read

I offer international shipping. Please know that you are responsible for any taxes, customs, duties, or other monetary responsibilities that your country may impose on you. If you are sending ash - please check with your country's postal system to ensure that you can send it internationally. Also, I will advise you of exactly how much ash to send for your purchase listing-so that all of it is used in your piece. Please follow that directive. Thanks in advance. :)

What's a production partner and what role do they play?

In a nutshell- a production partner is a company or other seller who manufactures items that other artists can use in their handmade creations. Most of us can't manufacture our own chain and clasps for example, so we have to buy them from suppliers. Rest assured that everything I purchase from a partner is simply a supply. I design and hand-create your jewelry, specifically for you!! Think of it like a bakery. A baker purchases raw ingredients-- flour, sugar, spices, etc. They use the raw ingredients and their own recipe to bake a special and unique cake just for you! **All sellers should list partners, per Etsy policy! **

I do not accept cancellations. If I cannot secure an item for your piece, such as a certain size ring base I will alert you, discuss a substitution, and allow you to cancel. Otherwise, please understand that when you place an order, I purchase supplies for your piece. Those cannot be returned. This causes a loss for my shop. If you are unsure whether or not you would like an item, please wait and make the final decision before purchasing. Thank you.

Should you Wash or Braid your Tail Hair before Sending it?

No, please do not wash or braid your tail hair before sending it. The texture of some tail hair can be challenging to work with. Using regular shampoo on it, can make it even more difficult. I always assess the hair when it comes in and determine how to treat it so that it will braid nicely. Also- please do not pre-braid it before sending it to me.

Do I Need to Send Ash or Hair to You?

Yes, purchasing most items will require you to send ash and horse hair to me. Once purchased, I will send you my address and basic instructions. Some items,such as urns or items made with stock hair do not require you to send me anything.

**You are required to send horse hair to me. I will message you my address upon purchase. I need a small bundle of hair, the diameter of a pen, about 4 inches long.**

This listing is for one custom made horse hair key chain, made with your horse's hair. The styles are: silver heart, silver round, or black round.
You can also add an engraved ROUND shaped tag. Please enter the name or initials in the space provided.

Black and brown tail hair works great. For white hair-it will be a little challenging to see. Please see the sample of the black and green key chain - it’s the second image.

These make great quick gifts!

The gem area is 25mm. For reference - 25mm is an inch.

**Tail hair is preferred for this piece**. If you are using white/light hair, it must be tail hair.

This item is made with glass using a different techniques than others. (We all have our own style! :))

**All background colors are sparkly. **

These are water resistant, but not water proof! Please do not wear it to swim, bathe, or shower.

**Note:
White/light hair can be harder to see. The green one is an example. Again- please send tail hair if you are using white/light hair. Please - no light mane hair.
