The rubber outsole we add to our shoes will wear away with time, this is totally normal. They can be replaced easily by any cobbler or shoemaker in your area. We recommend you to replace the outer sole as soon as you begin to notice any damage or wear down. This would prevent damaging the shoe itself.

Atlantis Shoes should fit snug as they will stretch. Please follow our size chart to find your matching size. It is important to measure your foot on a flat surface with your heel against a wall or straight edge. Use a ruler to measure the length in millimeters or inches from the tip of your longest toe to your heel. Keep in mind that your longest toe isn't necessarily your big toe! If you are between sizes we recommend going with the smaller one.

Well, it mostly depends on how often you wear them but it can take between a week and a month, depending on the type of activity.

Cheat code for faster break-in: Wearing thick socks may shorten the break in process. But remember, they may still need a couple of long walks to break in.

Care & Repair

Classic Leather:

All you need are a damp cloth and a leather conditioner. Just clean your Atlantis shoes with a damp cloth as it gets dirty and apply a leather conditioner as it appears dry.

Avoid wearing them in extreme conditions. If you get them wet, just leave them to dry in room temperature and they should be fine.

Maintaining Nubuck / Suede / Hair on Leathers:

Maintaining our nubuck and suede models are a bit different than maintaining our regular leather shoes.
You should avoid using any topical products on nubuck and suede as doing so may stain the leather.

We recommend using a soft brush to keep the hair maintained while using a damp cloth to clean them.
Always brush in the same direction and use the damp cloth gently while cleaning.

The stitching inside

It is normal to feel the stitching inside at first because they were stitched by hand. It is just all-natural beeswaxed cotton stitching so it will settle in with wear as well. Don't worry, you won't even notice the stitching after a few wears.
