INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS SHIPPING TAXES & DUTIES

For all international orders (shipped outside of Australia) we deliver duty unpaid (DDU). Any additional taxes or duties incurred on the shipment upon arrival into a country are the responsibility of the buyer. Unfortunately customs may sometimes hold an international parcel. We are unable to predict this process and it may take several working days for parcels to be released. Such delays are out of our control and can't be accounted for in our shipping time estimates.

All our product descriptions include the specific measurements for that item (in both cm and Inches). This is the most reliable way to determine vintage clothing sizing. Measurements are taken with the garment laying flat. The sizes printed on vintage garments tags very often do not correlate to any modern international size guidelines. To help make the vintage shopping process easier we provide a ‘Fits like’ size guide on each garment. There is more information on our 'Fits Like' guide bellow. This is strictly our estimate of the product’s size in modern terms, this is measured in: XS, S, M or L.

One of the easiest ways to gauge if an item will be the right size for you is to compare it's measurements with an existing piece of clothing from your wardrobe. To get the dimensions select a similar item in your wardrobe that fits you well. Lay it flat on the ground and measure straight across bust, waist and hips. Then simply compare these measurements with those on the FRUIT Vintage garment description. We take the majority of our garment measurements from the front, with the item laying flat (unless otherwise specified in the item description). If measurements are for the circumference of the garment (all the way around) then you need to double the measurement taken from the front.

All items sold by FRUIT Vintage are vintage & may have been previously owned, worn & loved. This is all part of their rich history- making every item unique. Items may show signs of wear or ageing. These are not considered to be faults or damage. We inspect all our items thoroughly & provide a full product & condition description. We do our very best to provide accurate & detailed descriptions of all our items. Mint Condition: A vintage item that is unworn or deadstock with no signs of wear. Excellent Condition: A used/worn item that is in excellent condition with minor signs of wear. It may present minor defects but is still in excellent structural and overall condition. Very Good/Good Condition: A used/worn item which shows signs of wear. These may include minor stains, fabrication issues, loose stitching - this will vary between items, please review the product description for specific flaws. Fair Condition: A used/worn item which shows significant signs of wear. This may include prominent stains, holes, runs or major repairs - this will vary between items, please review the product description for specific flaws.

Most vintage items will present some visible signs of wear or ageing. We do our absolute best to provide accurate descriptions, condition reports & photographs of all our vintage pieces. We cannot accept returns on the basis of change of mind, sizing or buyers remorse. We request that you please read all item information & inspect all images carefully prior to making a purchase as signs of age as described in the product listing & shown in the photos are not considered to be defects. FRUIT Vintage items are available for lay-by. We will happily reserve your item for you until it is paid in full, with a maximum lay-by period of 6 weeks. We require an initial minimum deposit of 30% of the total order cost, this means all items + the cost of shipping. If the buyer does not complete the transaction in full within the agreed period the transaction may be cancelled (and any payments made will be forfeited).
