Morocco is home to sought after one-of-a-kind rugs. All items listed in my shop are carefully selected by myself during my travels in Morocco over the last 6 years, the land where locals have been using skills passed down to them for centuries to produce exceptional handmade masterpieces.

Each piece has been handwoven by the women of Morocco. Rugs were made for personal use and have been passed on for many generations, the patterns and symbols reflecting the weaver's life events and feelings.

This rug has been pre-loved which means you may see some signs of ageing, repairs and minor imperfections but nothing that affects the quality/aesthetics of the rug.

RUG MAINTENANCE & CARE

Use a rug pad or rug underlay to prevent your rug from moving around.

When vacuuming, I recommend turning off the beater blade, use a low suction and vacuum in the direction of the wool fibres to prevent unnecessary shedding/damage.

I would always recommend having your rug professionally cleaned if necessary.
