Perfect for summer and fall fashions - one of the most beautiful times of the year. Lampwork beads in a swirl pattern of black brown, yellow, golds and umber orange tones. Shape is what I would call a "pumpkin" shape, not exactly round but a little more squat. Earrings measure 1 3/4 inches in length from top of ear wire to bottom of bead, and 3/8 inch in width. I have added a black Swarovski crystal to the top and bottom of each Boro bead, and then suspended them from .925 Sterling Silver ear wires. They are very comfortable to wear.

The glass used to make these dangle earring is called Boro ("Borosilicate") hard glass which is much harder than regular glass to ensure durability. The earrings are made by melting colored rods of glass with a torch, then swirling the colors and designs in the glass, and shaping the earrings into the shape and look desired. When this is accomplished, the final step is to place them in a heated kiln to make them strong and durable. Each piece is handmade and unique.
