Story Behind the Art:

Lotus Panel (Thailand)
Thailand lotus panels from teak has been done for generations in my family.
The designs were drawn from ancient memory and depict mainly the lotus bud or flower which is a sign of purity in the Buddhist sense. We only use recycled wood planks from old structures. All work is done in a communal setting as there are many stages done by hand; as such panels are not of a perfect size or thickness.

We really love our headboard, it’s just a beautiful piece! Only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the dimensions were off slightly. It came 69x 70; not a huge deal, but still enough to mention. Also, I wish it was a little more finished and sanded. We ordered no stain. The wood is beautiful alone, but they’re are a lot of rough edges and I feel they could have been sanded to make it look even better. Overall, we’re still very happy with the purchase and highly recommend it to others. We get so many compliments on it. The seller was very responsive and quick with messages which was greatly appreciated!

Thank you ninnet Thailand for the beautiful surprise on my door step yesterday! It took some time to get here but not too long. I actually thought it was quite fast once it finally shipped. I absolutely love it. Ninnet kept contact through the process and exceeded my expectations. They made a beautiful piece of art I am 100% grateful for and happy I purchased. I will post a picture in the future if I can (didn't get a chance to put it in our bedroom yet) but i love it and I'd do it 10 more times if i had to!! 💕💞💖😸
