These wool yarns are great for punch needle and rug hooking. Rug wool is courser than a knitting yarn and stands the test of time when punched or hooked into a rug.

Yarn punches nicely with an adjustable SKC needle, Oxford regular needle or larger. Also, can be used with a rug hook. Punch into monks cloth or primary rug backing.
