As an anxiety and ocd sufferer myself, I share the creative techniques and CBT tools that I have found helpful in managing my ocd and anxiety and how art can be used in every day life to help promote wellbeing. In this journal you will find drawing prompt pages, inspiring quotes and illustrations to colour in. Perfect to use when you need to mindfully refocus or when you are feeling anxious. Also included are lined note pages. As well as pages to record and keep track of your ERP / exposure and response prevention, progress and ocd recovery, really useful to help keep you motivated whilst challenging ocd. Fill the pages with drawings, doodles and notes. Let the book be an inspiring starting point for creativity.

When I was first diagnosed with ocd I searched for a creative journal that I could use to help me keep track of my ocd challenges. But was disheartened to find that many of the books available were large and complicated medical type manuals. Which were to heavy and complex for me to easily understand at the time. I found that the techniques were not practical to use in my every day life, especially when in the throws of severe ocd. That’s why I wanted to create this book in the hope that it may help someone who is in a similar situation. The book is simple to use, bright, visually appealing and set out in a way that is easy to follow and understand. I have included funny and quirky illustrations to make the reader smile and all the colouring pages are created from my own illustrations as well as from my original wildlife artwork. At the end of the book there is a poem I wrote about ocd as well as some mini colouring cards. I have also added motivational and positive quotes throughout the book and describe techniques which I have found helpful. Some of which include CBT based techniques such as ERP and mindfulness techniques.
I share some of my own struggles and the ways I have overcome them, in the hope of inspiring others and giving them hope.
