This coaster set is made from the recycled pages of a copy of Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice." The coasters are made of aluminum, backed with cork, and have a mylar covering to protect the pages from getting wet.

Each set includes 4 coasters, one with the script lettering title page, the opening lines, the proposal, and the rejection. The coasters are round with a 3.5" diameter, and .25" thick.

You can use the text side up if you have a warm beverage and want to protect your table from scratches, or flip it over and use the cork side to absorb condensation from cold drinks. The picture side is waterproof and able to be cleaned, but they are not dishwasher safe, nor should they be submerged in water.

Bibliophiles, don't fret! 90% of my books come from library discards, when the books are too damaged to be kept on the shelf. The coaster pages are the extra bits left over from when I make the recycled book journals and purses, so very little goes to waste.
