Sashiko is a form of Japanese folk embroidery using a variation of a running stitch to create a patterned background. Traditionally made in geometric patterns with white cotton thread on indigo blue fabric, the designs include straight or curved lines of stitching arranged in a repeating pattern that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

This pillow will give your living spaces a traditional and rustic feel. This pillow will be a great addition to your side chair, a bench or spruce up your couch or your bed.

Sashiko print cotton blend at the front. The backing is a 100% neutral color linen.

This pillow is removable and has zipper closures at the bottom.

You can choose to either buy the pillow with the insert or just the pillow cover without the insert.

your pillow insert at least 2" larger than the pillow cover to fit.**

The filler, we use synthetic down fiber, is the softest fiber we offer and has the fill and texture of traditional down.

**The pillow will be compressed in a box for shipping and must be refluffed. Push pillow insert into pillow casing and adjust placement.**

Care:
The fabrics have been pre washed.

Washing:
Washing it by hand are always the recommended methods for washing.
You can use warm water with some detergent. Please do not use any kind of bleach or stain remover at anytime.
(Use a specific detergent for black fabric that would prolong the color if available.)

Dry:
Hang drying in shade is strongly recommended. Tumbling dryer is not recommended to avoid unnecessary damage and rubbing of fabric.

Iron:
When you iron, place an extra piece of towel or fabric between the print and Iron, and use a medium to low steam setting.
(Polyester and Rayon burns instantly with high heat.)
Start from an inconspicuous location (bottom back of the print) and test the heat level. If the fabric starts to shine, then the heat is too high!
