Our DIPPED design printed permanently on to our 11" baltic birch wood trivet. Super versatile and thoughtfully designed; these printed wood trivets and their matching coasters are both absorbent and heat tolerant. Each trivet can hold a hot dish from the oven or serve as a large coaster for catching condensation. Our inks are digitally and permanently printed and UV cured on to the wood and hold up well to daily use.

Q: Are these wood trivets for hot or cold drinks?
A: BOTH! The wood and the digital inks are both heat stable. Both the coasters and trivets can hold a dish straight from the oven! The inks are cured hard to the wood and will never melt or fade. As for condensation from cold drinks, our coasters are treated with a food safe oil (we use a cutting board oil). This oil conditions the wood to slowly and gently absorb any droplets. Or if desired, one could simply wipe them dry when done. Re-applying oil periodically is optional. Any oil works!

CARE: pat dry, wipe clean, gentle soaps ok, never submerge. Arrives lightly coated with mineral oil - a food safe oil that conditions the wood. If desired, periodically re-apply your preferred oil to keep the finish fresh and more moisture repellant.

I enjoy the look of this trivet, however when it was listed as “wood” I thought it would be substantial wood. It’s made with plywood. So it’s light and feels not as sturdy. It does look nice but a bit pricey for printed plywood and the fact it was priced higher than some heavy ceramic and cork coasters I bought.

shipping was really fast. they feel very lightweight for ceramic & the print on the coaster is super crisp. saw a lot of those acrylic & resin coasters but you need a good porous & absorbent material like ceramic to keep water off of surfaces.
