We designed our hats to easily fasten to your choice of a barrette, head band, styling clip, elastic party hat string or ribbon ties. Follow the assembly directions in the included .pdf file.

Each file is 300 dpi. 8 1/2" x 11". Print on letter size paper. Two sheets of regular 110 lb cardstock are required to create one hat.

*****PRINTING INFO:

This project requires a minimum of 110lb sturdy card stock. For best "print quality" we recommend matte photo paper that is at least 60 lb. The more rigid the photo paper the better. We used Staples Photo Supreme Matte photo paper (#19895) for our sample hat. It prints bright and sharp vivid colors and rich dark black. It is almost as sturdy as 110 lb card stock and has a smooth feel.

**IMPORTANT: Paper should be printable on both sides for the underside of the Hat's Brim.

CARDSTOCK info:

In the past, we recommended Georgia Pacific 110lb cardstock found at Walmart, but for some reason it seems to be off the market.

We have tested other brands to replace the GP brand and found one that is suitably rigid for making the teacups and top hats yet can still go through an HP Officejet 7000 U-feed printer. Look online for 80lb 'Accent' White Cardstock, 216gsm, Smooth Finish (121947R) sold by Accent.

We have not tried this other paper, but it has the same weight/gsm/brightness as the Accent brand at a reasonable price of $12.99 for 50 sheets.... PrintWorks White Cover Stock, Premium Plus, 80 lb. NOTE: We don't recommend Pen & Gear card stock or Neenah Exact Index 110lb as they are not rigid enough, too flimsy, and warp from gluing.
