Cat Toy Buffalo Deer Hair Adult Bushy-tailed Woodrat - Mouse Rat like Teaser Wand / Pole Attachment / Refill

SAFETY INFORMATION FIRST:
This is not a toy to just give your cat! This is an attachment for poles/wands and should ONLY be used on a pole/wand while YOU are holding the wand/pole and controlling the play. NEVER leave attachments out for your cat, they are NOT chew toys and are designed for supervised interaction on a pole/wand only, during play sessions. All interactive toys and attachments should be put away out of sight and reach of your cat(s) when the play session is over.
Do not allow your cat(s) to chew on, eat/ingest any interactive attachments as they can be a choking hazard. If eaten contact your veterinarian as soon as possible.
Inspect all attachments often for rips or tears or wear and remove toys if/when damaged or worn.

LISTING DESCRIPTION:
The Bushy-tailed Woodrat is a wand/pole attachment and averages 6.25 inches from nose to long bushy tail tip. It is compatible with wands and poles that use a clip to connect attachments (such as Wildcat, Da Bird, Cat Catcher and Da Bee poles and wands - poles/wands/rods are available separately). Simply connect via a strong braided loop at the nose.

Your cats' speed and grace will amaze you as they dash around trying to capture the prey!

The ears are large, and the tail is bushy. Made from a mix of Buffalo hair and Deer hair with buffalo hide ears and tail. The core is Buffalo leather, not a metal pin or a plastic tube.

I had the idea to make this pattern after having to trap so many real Bushy-tailed Wood Rats to relocate them from my deck. The first time I saw one I thought they are some strange cross between a gerbil and a Chinchilla!

A bit of trivia, the Bushy-tailed Wood Rat (also known as the Pack Rat) is the native rat found in North America. Those rats with bald tails you see in cities and look like big mice, those are European rats and brought here by settlers (not on purpose).

I designed this attachment to not have dyed fur/hair, metal or plastic! The Deer and Buffalo hides I use come from Wyoming and/or Montana, NOT China.

I personally test all my toys with my cats and no-kill shelter cats. The kittens in the pictures are from Tabby's Place in Ringoes NJ, a wonderful Cat Sanctuary that I support.

NOTE: Hair color and length will vary! It all depends on the hides I am using at the time.
