Gift wrapping and packaging

My orders are usually all packaged the same way: a plain brown box (4x4x2 inch) with scrunched up white tissue paper inside for cushioning. A lot of my items are fragile, so for additional protection, I wrap each item in bubble wrap before nestling them into the box, and then your folded packing slip goes on top to add a little extra cushion on top. If you purchase gift wrapping, that box will be wrapped neatly in the paper of your choice and placed inside of a white bubble mailer to protect the paper from damage during shipment. If your order will not fit into a single 4x4x2 box, I usually fill two of those boxes and then place them into a white bubble mailer for shipment.

Social media engagement is probably the best way. I'm not good at the social media aspect of running a business, so a post, a tag, or a like and share helps me more than you'd realize :) I also always welcome custom orders if there’s anything special that you’d like to have made!

I could get the materials to make this for so much cheaper. Why are you charging so much?

I completely understand how handmade pricing can seem high compared to the cost of materials alone. In fact, a significant portion of the displayed price (around 50%) goes directly to platform fees, taxes and other mandatory expenses. Why don't you sell to EU countries anymore? (Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Norway, Ireland, etc)

As much as I did not want to cut off sales from these countries, some product safety regulations were put into place in Dec 2024 that requires US sellers to have an Authorized Representative within the EU. This person would be in charge of ensuring that my products are compliant with these new regulations, but would require me to pay for the service every year. Unfortunately I do not receive enough revenue from these countries to justify the price of the Authorized Rep and I do not wish to risk fines or a shop ban by being non-compliant. It's possible that I will reconsider paying for it in the future, but right now it is sadly not viable for my shop.
