Mimi canotier is professionally finished with a steel wired brim edge for structure and stability. This attention to detail and finishing adds everlasting quality. The hat is set in place on the head with adjustable millinery elastic and/or long pure silk neckties.

As usual OUTSTANDING hat !
Initial confusion about ordering a "percher" resulted in a too small hat. (I was crushed.) But Edie O figured out a way to fix it. She wove/sewed/added more straw onto the brim. A bigger brim made the hat appear bigger... And it's perfectly wearable now. Also, one of the most beautifully made hats I've ever owned. Get so many compliments whenever I wear it. Have already ordered a second hat and am planning a third one. Thank you, Edie.
