Are your items in copyright?

Yes, our restoration work is copyrighted, hence the whole new image. We are careful that the original art work or photography that we are restoring is out-of-copyright and in the public domain. Our descriptive text is also copyrighted.

Are your prints archival?

Yes! They are archival, using acid-free paper and archival pigments, rated to not have significant fading for many generations, upwards of 200 years, if kept dry and out of the direct sun. (source: epson.com)

No, our art is not available for download and is protected under our copyright.

What is the size of the image on the paper?

The image is always smaller than the size of the paper. Each of our images has different dimensions, so we leave a white border to avoid cropping or stretching the images. Depending on the shape of the image, the exact size will vary, but the margins are approximately as follows: 5x7: .5 inch 8.5x11: 1.3 inch 11x14: 1.6 inch 13x17 & 16x20: 1.75 inch 18x24 and 24x36: .5inch

Custom and personalized orders

Custom images: we generally do not customize the image itself. However, if you would like to alter the above-mentioned margin size, we can make the border smaller or larger. Borderless images are not possible due to the dimensons of the art. Custom holy cards: we do all sorts of custom holy cards for any occasion! Please send us a message with your needs and we will work with you on a design.

We ship via USPS and UPS. If your order has shipped, please refer to your tracking number for updates. If your tracking number hasn't updated in more than a week, feel free to file a missing mail report at missingmail.usps.com 24x36 posters can experience significant shipping delays because they ship in an extra-long tube. International orders can take up to 1 month to arrive, depending on country.

This is an angelic photo of Sister Lucia, with the black of her habit and the halo-like framing of white around her face. We think the lighting is just perfect. Taken by some forgotten master of Portuguese photography, this picture conveys her gentleness and other-worldliness near the beginning of all those decades of waiting. Even the trompe-l'œil church background serves the theme; the physical world is hardly there, while her holiness is almost palpable.

One part of Lucia’s story that is not widely known is that she was already an extremely devout child before the apparitions. At age 6, she was broken-hearted and in tears because she could not receive Jesus in Communion; 10 was the customary age. In light of her devotion, she was granted an exception. She said of her first communion that she felt “bathed in such a supernatural atmosphere that the presence of our dear Lord became as clearly perceptible to me as if I had seen and heard Him with my bodily senses.” As a child, she wrote songs and, in addition, she was known as an imaginative storyteller, which made it harder for people to believe her regarding the appearance of Mary.

Sister Lucia lived for almost 90 years after seeing Mary.

We straightened and did some restoration work on this long out-of-copyright photo.

!!!IMPORTANT!!! THE IMAGE IS SMALLER THAN THE PAPER FOR THE SMALLER SIZES!!!!!
There is a blank white margin around the paper, 1/2" for 5x7", 1.3" for 8.5x11", and 1.6" for 11x14", and 1.75" for the 13x17" and 16x20".
For the poster sizes, 18x24" and 24x36", those are cropped and printed to the edge of the paper, without borders.
