Handmade Solid Wood 5-Drawer Dresser: Cherry Enso Design

The Enso Dresser is not your regular dresser. It is designed and built with the finest components and craftsmanship. Every drawer slides in and out on precision-bearing slides hidden from view. These drawer slides have a “soft close” feature that makes it impossible to slam them shut. If the drawer isn’t closed all the way through, the built-in mechanism gently pulls the drawer shut on its own.

Crafted from the finest local wood, it has a raised panel construction on both sides. Drawers are all dovetail construction made using Maple wood. The drawer pulls are a unique bow-tie design that can be selected in complimentary wood tones.

This item pairs very well with the Enso Bed and also with the Sunrise bed.

MATERIALS:

The item is solid wood. All my wood arrives as rough-sawn lumber, which affords me extra flexibility with my material. I do my best to match boards for grain, color, and texture. That said, wood is natural and what you order may not look exactly like the picture, but it will be a unique work of art. All the wood used in T.Y. Fine Furniture is selected from naturally fallen trees, coming from local Ohio Forests. The glues are age-old milk-based blends that are tested for food contact.

FINISH:

I believe wood should never be stained or sealed heavily. It robs the wood of its beauty and the end user of the pure experience and joy when buying an honestly made piece of furniture. I use my own wood finish which is an Oil+Wax blend. And because I treat my customers as I would my own family, my finish is 100% Organic and consists of only food grade ingredients. Additionally, the finish is incredibly easy to maintain and repair. Here is some more information on my finish:

Some applications require a more waterproof coating, so please let me know if you would like your item finished with a hard coating style finish.
