Review pt. 2 of 2: I sent pics of the hats to Edie; she agreed they were ruined/not wearable. Only after I asked about a refund did she insist I send them back for repair, despite my special event having passed. I returned them w/ insurance ($$). My requests for a refund were ignored. I was told the shipping company was “investigating” 2 weeks ago. Now that I've said I'm going to have to escalate the case, she claims I didn't send requested photos (demonstratively false) and that my professionally packaged return box, larger & sturdier than hers w/ plenty of packing material, is too small & caused further damage. Very petty. It's been a month since I received the hats, a week since she received my return, and looks like I'm in for several more weeks of headwear headache. Thus, I cannot recommend this unprofessional seller.

And They Loved Hats contacted Etsy Support for advice, concerned after customer made technically impossible allegations of damage to hatbox & steel wired brim to her custom made hat(see image 5)demanding refund/insurance/resell, but rejecting our generous offer of a free repair, as a resolution. Since 2011 we've had a no refund policy for custom made items. She accepted her 24 hr parcel from the UK with doorstep signature. Two days later sent back photos of her custom hat which we passed to the hat industry's millinery historian for advice who commented, ''Does look distinctly as if the brim has been bent by hand..'' Customer kept the hats for 3 weeks, failing to return packaging & box for courier company investigation. We have shipped these boxes worldwide since 2011. Our customer services are excellent
