Ultra Rare Pair Of Chinese Cloisonne Triangle Jumping Fish Shaped Vases, Estimated 1920's, Blue Cloisonne With Gold Accents, Mirrored Scenes

A magnificent and beautiful pair of Chinese Cloisonne jumping fish shaped vases with triangle shape bases and three images on each vase that mirror each other. It is estimated that these vases are from the 1920’s. Research has only produced one other pair of same design which were owned for years by original owners that had purchased them in China on their travels. Each vase is triangular in shape mimicking the shape of a fish jumping out of water. Each side has a different design on each side however the 6 different designs are actually 3 designs mirroring each other. Each design is in an ornate burgundy frame featuring scenes of flowers, foliage, butterflies, tree blossoms and birds. Surrounding the framed images on all sides are gold fish scales on the blue enamel background. The base design on all 3 sides is approximately the same with ripples of lake or ocean water and rolling waves with a white haze representing the mist of the water rising. At the top beneath the mouth of each side are 2 black dots inside gold rings representing fish eyes. The mouths of each vase, because of their 3 sides, effectively mimic fish mouths. The mouths and vertical edges on all three sides are all hand painted gold on the enamel. No makers markings. Price is for pair. Exquisitely beautiful!

Condition: These vases are both in very good condition with no chips or cracks or dents. Only the mouth of one of the vases has a dark mark on the gold (see photo).
