This mug is decorated with an Australian native flannel flower design under bright glossy glazes. It was made by me using a combination of slab building and wheel throwing techniques.

Size: 8.5cm tall with a diameter at the top of approx 10.7cm.
Capacity: 400ml.

This is the Wide Mug from my Flannel Flower Range. Each piece is an individual.
Dishwasher and microwave safe.

White/buff outside - white inside

The vintage flannel flower pattern you can see under the glaze is reproduced from an Australian Federation (c1915) pane of window glass from my home in Sydney. I impress the design into the clay, thus making an exact copy of this precious heritage design.

The piece has been fired to stoneware temperature at which point the clay matures and is made non-porous, durable and chip resistant. All glazes have been formulated by me and are food safe.

These mugs are GORGEOUS. Roomy, beautiful and just a delight to drink out of. I got one as a gift for my dad which was unwrapped to serious sudden envy from the rest of my family. I’m so glad I gave into impulse and bought one for myself too. Very excited for the restock, love your work.
