It's designed and handmade by fiber artist Rianne Aarts in The Netherlands, Europe. This impressive yet elegant wall hanging is created with 100% natural, high quality twisted cotton cord and can be created with either natural fringes or with a dip-dyed finish. This work is made with a beautiful flat (brown) oak-wood dowel with attached mounting brackets at the back, so that you can mount it to the wall without losing any space for hanging strings or other materials. This will give the artwork a sort of ‘floating’ look, which not only will look luxurious but which will also hide any wall screws.

- After receiving your piece unpack it as soon as possible and hang it on your wall. Sometimes during transport it can get a bit wrinkled. By hanging it, gravity will straighten this out (literally and figuratively ;-) )
- I use a natural cotton for all my work. Sometimes the ends of the cotton rope can fray slightly. To prevent this as much as possible, it is treated with an anti fraying solution.
- To clean your wall hanging, only lightly dust the piece.
- Do not use a damp cloth or steam cleaner to clean the piece. Any used dye can run out and you risk damaging the cotton fibers.

Please be sure to follow these instructions to ensure a long lifespan for your precious wall hanging.

A spectacular work of art! "Mariana" looks great in Etsy pics, but they can't convey the beauty of the textures and depth of the piece when it arrives. Its geometric shapes practically pulse with rhythm and the hand-dyed fringes are richly colored and almost rippling. The piece arrived swiftly and securely with handy mounting brackets and care instructions. What a pleasure to deal with Rianne's company. I wish I could give Teddy and Wool 6+ stars. I'm beyond satisfied.
