Textured Sterling Silver Headband: Unisex Alice Band. Can customise with tube or loops to make a Tiara

This lovely Unisex Sterling Silver Head Band, or Alice Band or Tiara, has a textured, polished, beautiful finish. Perfect as a gift or a treat for yourself (popular with men too) to hold your hair back on a daily basis or a special occasion!

The texture is created with lace or hessian, or we can make you a hammered version (see the last 3 pictures - the first 2 of these were hammered with a matte satin finish; the 3rd of these shows a hammered headband with a shiny finish).

We can also customise this headband for you if you want something slightly different (see below).

Normally, the Silver Headband is circular (as seen in the first 4 photos) and the silver measures approximately 3.2mm/0.13" wide, 1.3mm deep - it is strong but flexible.

It extends over the ears and beyond to ensure a comfortable fit (with an approximate diameter of 11-12cm/4.5"), measuring 39cm in total length (end to end). If you require a different dimension please let me know when ordering.

I usually bend the circle ends inwards slightly to ensure there is better grip on your hair; however in the 5th picture you can see a headband with more pronounced 'ends' (which was also made with a slightly hammered and matt satin/brushed finish, for the same price).

The normal handmade silver head band weighs approximately 20gm/0.70 ounces in total (without the tube or loops).

In the 6th, 7th and 8th pictures you will see a highly polished and plain (not textured) headband that had an additional sterling silver tube (normally 2cm long) soldered onto the top, so the customer could insert a vintage brooch through it and wear it as a tiara! - you can buy that option here.

In the 9th and 10th pictures you can see a longer headband we have recently made with loops, to tie a ribbon through. This was highly polished and shiny (not textured) and measured 43cm long, but we can make this to any length you require and also with texture - just ask! - you can buy that option here.

Please note that as you are buying a hand-made item the texturing detail may not be exactly the same as in the photos, but you will receive a gorgeous and unique headband.
