⛏️ Labradorite got its name when discovered by Moravian missionaries in 1770 on Paul Island in Labrador, Canada.

💜 It’s since been found in other places, but the most impressive pieces are coming from Madagascar and Finland. And...Purple Labradorite known as 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 and 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 are the rarest of all and the most difficult to get.
