The sword stands on a clear perspex base.
Achilles is one of the most famous heroes of Greek Mythology. He was the mightiest of the Greeks who fought in the Trojan War and was the hero of Homer's Iliad.
Achilles was invulnerable in all of his body except for his heel. Alluding to these legends, the term "Achilles' heel" has come to signify a point of vulnerability or weakness.

This is amazing quality craftsmanship. I would recommend to anyone who is trying to add to their collection. Unfortunately in transit to the United States my sword sliced through its packaging and the tip was damaged. Only recommendation to the seller would be to encase the sword in something more rigid or place a cap into he tip to protect it for long trips. Otherwise an amazing piece to cherish forever. If the seller has any thoughts on how I could repair the tip please reach out it would be very appreciated. Thanks!!
