A marvellous art jewelry executed in senators taste and made by famous Meyle & Mayer , founded in 1887 in Pforzheim, Germany. Gustave Mayle and Julius Mayer were two of the greatest Jugendstil /Art Nouveau masters in Germany, who produced rich and astounding jewellery. The Mayle & Mayer manufacture was destroyed during WW2(in 1945) and never operated again.

Crafted from high standard silver/935 this splendid pendant features one oval faceted bezel set soft lavender amethyst gemstone ~2.50 carats, surrounded by the intense royal blue vitreous enamel with rhythmical laurel wreath decorations adorned by the sparkling rose cut marcasites. Two elongated white lustrous freshwater pearls are swinging on miniature chains, below the stone, completing this imperious combination. So many of fine details proudly combined in one glorious art piece make this rare antique pendant a desirable and ambitious piece of art. To find another pendant like this is almost impossible, because most of the Meyle & Mayer work reside in private collections, which makes this purchase one unique investment opportunity!

*Comes with matching vintage sterling silver chain to be worn as a necklace.
