Our cases are made out of polycarbonate (hard plastic) and the soft lining for tough cases of thermoplastic polyurethane, or TPU, which is an awesome mixture of hard plastic and soft silicone. The process of making these materials is very eco-friendly, and as a result, can solve VOC emission problems effectively. We've found that polycarbonate and TPU provide durability and excellent shock absorption while also being fully recyclable.

No, they are printed. Neither are they made of any kind of Damascus steel or silver. As you might remember, Mandalorian beskar was gathered and cast in an Imperial smelter. We don't have an Imperial smelter. But we do have a 3D sublimation printer. This is the Way. Although the idea to make the cases out of real steel is tempting, it's certainly not very practical as it would make the phone very heavy and prevent it from wireless charging.

Glossy is quite shiny and very vivid whereas matte is a little bit muted in colors. That means that the darkest part of the print will be not as deep as in the glossy version. It's only about the perceived contrast which is tiny bit less in the matte version. Most people prefer the gloss version as it is looking really stunning. If you don't want to show off with the phone case then maybe matte (which looks more understated) would suit you better. But matte is also a little bit more slippery! Gloss sticks better to your hand (similar to holding a glass of wine) whereas matte is more like holding something wrapped in silk! That is the best comparison we can make. Matte finish is very smooth, very pleasant to hold but a tad more slippery.

All our cases support wireless charging. The iPhone cases (for iPhone 12, 13 or newer) also work with MagSafe.

However, keep this in mind: anything that gets between MagSafe coil in the device and the MagSafe accessory itself slightly reduces the connection. So a thin slim case will work with MagSafe without any issues. A tough case won’t attach as strongly - but if left in place it will charge.

We recommend using original MagSafe chargers from Apple as third party chargers often have weaker magnets.

UPDATE: For selected devices we now offer Tough Cases with built-in MagSafe magnets that align perfectly with your iPhone. The magnets will help attach the MagSafe accessories to your iPhone more strongly than our regular tough cases.

All of our items are made to order and the production times (the time it takes us to make the item) range between 1-5 business days. During the busy time leading up to the holidays we experience longer production (7-10 working days) and shipping times.

I got a great laugh out of this case when I unboxed it and I still love it. Slim, sleek, and secure. The print is high quality and the matte finish is great. The bottom edge by the charger is a little sharp, but not dangerously so. It's still comfortable.
