Here is a fun, quick and easy sewing pattern to make your own pinafore apron.

In the instantly downloadable PDF files I describe step by step how to sew your own pinafore apron guided by drawings and photos.
Also for a beginner in sewing, the tutorial is simple to follow.

The PDF file is completely redone in April 2024 and contains
* a 7-page pattern in A4/US Letter/A0 for the sizes XS to XXL
* a sewing guide in English

To make the apron, you will need fabric depending on size
* in cm between 110 and 160 cm long by 140 wide
* in inches between 43 and 63” long by 55” wide
* in yards between 1.20 and 1.75 long by 1.53 wide

PDF files can be read with the free software Adobe Acrobat Reader, often already installed on computers but if not, safe to download from the internet.

After the transaction is done, you will receive an automatic confirmation from Etsy with the download link.

The pattern is only the top half portion of the apron. To use it per the instructions, you need to print and assemble it TWICE (20+ pieces of paper) tape it in the middle, measure and park out the bottom portion + pocket and cut it from a single piece of fabric. Most patterns I've used instruct you to cut from a folded piece of fabric which eliminates the extra step.

Hello, I've sent you multiple messages but sadly have had no response. It is not at all necessary to print the pattern twice, nor is this mentioned anywhere in the sewing guide. What is mentioned however, is to draw the pattern onto the fabric, flip the pattern over, and draw the other half. Also, if you want to lay the pattern on folded fabric, then please do, nowhere is it suggested not to do so. The pattern is purposely only half of the top of the apron to save paper, printer inks, and time. I am sorry you have misunderstood the sewing guide. Best, Marion
