If you're sending a gift directly to the recipient, a note letting them know who the gift is from is usually a good idea, i can write a sort messages too, but long messages are not possible.

I use dark patina to make oxidized items. The oxidized effect is a hematite finish or is almost black in color. Please note this process is not permanent, as wear and tear can buff away the layers of darkening causing an almost antique effect eventually.
