The hat is really bizarrely long, which wasn’t that apparent, as the hat has been scrunched in photos or something. It won’t scrunch like that here, nor does the extra length fold up well as some hats do. It just looks awkward, like a chunky limp sock being shoved onto the head, and doesn’t feel comfortable on. It was meant as a gift so I didn’t realize this was an issue until later.

Sorry to hear you are not happy with your hat. It is longer because it is a slouchy hat. Slouchy beanies do need to be styled to look good.
