The cocoon robes are made from a one piece pattern that is cut from a single piece of fabric. The width of the fabric piece used is 60-64 inches and the finished garment is the same width at waist and hip. The draping allows the garment to fit up to a size 18 I calculate the height by using average length from sternal notch to floor on my mannequin. sometimes depending on your body shape the length can vary by a few inches. I tend allow a bit more length than risk the robe being too short.

The velvet I use is polyester and spandex and the faur fur is 100% polyester. The robes can be hand washed or machine washed on a cool delicate cycle and laid flat to dry. DO NOT PUT IN THE DRYER AS THIS WILL RUIN THE FUR. the robes can also be dry cleaned but let your cleaner know not to apply heat to the fur. The fur can be refluffed if needed by combing and a cool hairdryer setting. If your fur is a little squashed when you receive your robe due to shipping you can fluff it with a hair dryer on cool.
