We added this bookshelf to our daughter's room this January. It joined a toy shelf from Sklejkove that my mother had gotten her last year. It is a great improvement over our previous book storage method (boxes) and our daughter spends more time with her books now that she can access them more easily. While it may not be very Montessori of us, we have used every inch of space the bookshelf provides, including adding a slat to the back to keep the books we store there from falling out when we move the bookshelf. I'm very pleased with the quality and the craftsmanship of the bookshelf. It is heavy and sturdy and will surely last us a long time.
