This listing is for one bowl.

The bowls are porcelain, so the letters and the heart pop. As always, I freestyle the hand lettering, so they are time/labor intensive and can take 4-5 weeks from start to finish.

A peek into my process:

I throw the bowls on my potter's wheel, let them dry for 1-2 days, trim them, hand-shape and add the heart, then let them dry completely for 3-5 days (depending on the size). Then I add the lettering, first by designing the lettering in pencil to make it just right, followed by the actual brushwork with black underglaze. The piece is then fired to the bisque phase, after which I apply glaze and fire again.

This size is approximately 5" across and 1.5" deep and holds about 1 cup of dry food.

For an additional $5, I can add color to the outside OR a black rim (or both for $10). Right now I have the orange and pink you see in the photos, but may be able to offer other choices - just ask. For an additional fee, I can also add other customizations like you see in the photos.
