Upon request we do create specific oils, incense, spell kits, gem kits, etc. that may not be listed in our shoppe. Price, availability and time required will vary for each request. Custom orders are not returnable. Please contact us for more details or to inquire. We believe that a large part of workings come from the practitioner and their energy in preparing and/or working the spell/ritual themselves. The spell/ritual information provided with spell/ritual kits can be viewed as suggestions and the customer can always create, alter or reword any spell/ritual to meet their particular needs or how they see fit. We provide spell/rituals that have been created for that specific item or that have been part of our shoppe's Book of Shadows for a very long time. But as with any magickal working, the customer/practitioner is the one who creates the magick...we just help by providing some of the tools!

Returns, Exchanges & Shipping

We do accept returns and exchanges for items that are damaged or incorrect. Please contact us regarding returns/refunds. SOME ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE due to the nature of the item, but we will do our best to come to a mutually agreeable solution. We will generally not refund for an item returned that is not in original condition, has not been approved for return or is an item that is non-returnable. We do not refund for items that "did not work"; please review our policies before purchasing. Verify your address when ordering; we will not refund shipping for incorrect addresses or returns. International orders: we are not responsible for customs issues & returns are subject to a restocking fee for unclaimed, refused or returned orders.

Materials

Available in four types: Round "Self-Lighting" Disks -both small and large size, Square, and Long (silver coated) and Coconut Round Disks (33mm). Large Round (40mm) and Coconut Round not pictured.

Variety Pack is available with one of each of the following charcoal: 1 Round Self-Lighting, 1 Square, 1 Long, 1 Coconut Round. You may choose either to have the small round self-lighting included or large round self-lighting included (indicated by "small" or "large" in variation description).

Charcoal (Charcoal Briquettes) are used to burn powder incense, resins, or herbs. Place in a heat safe container (with or without sand), light the charcoal with a flame, let sit for a minute or two to smoulder, then add your incense, resins or herbs to the top to burn. These do not need an accelerant to light, but the square and long briquettes are not considered "self-lighting" and take a bit more fire to light (flame applied for a longer time) but are considered 'cleaner' since there are no self-lighting chemicals added. Coconut Round Disks also do not have an accelerant and will need more time to light. Available in single pieces, set of two, or set of five of each type or a variety pack.

Information & Lighting Instructions For Each Type:
(we recommend using a fireplace lighter or similar as the easiest for lighting)

*Self-Lighting Round Disks -- 33mm for small or 40mm for large round in size. Has an accelerant as part of the charcoal. Approximate burn time up to 20-30 for small or 40-60 minutes for large. Apply flame to edge of charcoal until you hear and see slight sparking. When one section begins to light, it will ignite other sections of the charcoal due to the "self-lighting" nature. You may light in several places to encourage quicker lighting. When you see the charcoal begin to glow/burn you may blow on it gently to encourage the rest of the charcoal to light quicker. This is the easiest charcoal to light and keep lit.

*Square Briquette -- 1 in x 1 in x .25 in thick. Sulfur free, pure charcoal briquette. Approximate burn time up to 45-60+ minutes. Apply flame to a corner until it begins to appear ashy or glow. Lighting all or multiple corners will encourage a quicker light/burn. You may blow on the glowing corners gently to encourage the charcoal to burn. This charcoal will be hot enough, after several minutes, to burn incense, resins, herbs in the center of the briquette even if the center does not glow--especially convenient if only needed for a short time. Adding incense, etc to the briquette if it is not glowing may cause the charcoal to go out or not continue to smoulder after a few minutes and necessitate re-lighting. This is the toughest to light and keep lit of all the charcoals due to its pure nature.

*Long Briquette -- .75 in x .5 in x . 25 in thick. Charcoal briquette with a silver coating. Approximate burn time up to 45 minutes. Apply flame to one end/edge of the charcoal on the end that does not have silver. Lighting both ends will encourage a quicker light/burn. You may blow on slightly once it glows to encourage the charcoal to burn. The charcoal will be hot enough, after several minutes, to burn incense, resins, herbs. The silver coating may remain intact as the interior charcoal burns allowing you to burn your incense on the top.

*Coconut Round Disk -- 33mm. Natural Coconut Charcoal disk. Approximate burn time up to 45-60+ minutes. Apply flame to a corner/side until it begins to appear ashy or glow. Lighting all or multiple corners/sides will encourage a quicker light/burn. You may blow on the glowing corners gently to encourage the charcoal to burn. This charcoal will be hot enough, after several minutes, to burn incense, resins, herbs in the center of the briquette even if the center does not glow--especially convenient if only needed for a short time. Adding incense, etc to the briquette if it is not glowing may cause the charcoal to go out or not continue to smoulder after a few minutes and necessitate re-lighting. This is the toughest to light and keep lit of all the charcoals due to its pure nature.

THESE MUST BE BURNED IN A HEAT SAFE CONTAINER/SURFACE. THEY GET EXTREMELY HOT WHEN LIT/SMOULDERING.
