Crescent, Half, and Full Moon phases hand built by me in Adobe Illustrator out of simple shapes to create simple SVG paths, great for your cut files. Use it as a digital icon, cut file, screen print design, or mix it up with other digital art.

Your files will not contain my watermark (it's just there in my thumbnails to help prevent theft/tracing).

The artwork you have purchased comes with a lifetime non-exclusive, non-transferable commercial-use license that allows you to use the work on up to 500 units of physical products that you sell or distribute.


## Allowed and Forbidden Use

Each artwork file you have purchased may be used in your personal or commercial work, for as long as you wish, on up to 500 total "units", where one unit is one instance of an item for sale or distribution (ie one printed t-shirt, one copy of a greeting card, etc). Units of any type count toward the number of used units. For example - one printed t-shirt, one copy of a greeting card, and one printed sticker count as 3 units used. Fifty printed shirts, Fifty printed greeting cards, and 50 printed stickers would count as 150 units used.

Units containing altered versions of the artwork continue to count toward the 500 unit limit. For example, One printed t-shirt containing an un-altered icon, and one printed t-shirt containing the same icon that has been altered in some way (ie you have changed the color, or combined it with other artwork etc), count as two units of use for that icon. If you print 50 of the first t-shirt, and 50 of the second shirt, that counts as 100 units used.

Please contact the artist (Kat Landreth) for an extended license if you anticipate producing more than 500 total units that contain a given design.

You may use the image as part of a physical commercial product, alone or as an element for a larger design. You are permitted to create derivative works with this artwork where the product you sell or distribute will be in printed or otherwise physical form.

You may use the designs where the final product will be in digital form for PERSONAL use only. You may not re-sell, give away, or otherwise distribute in digital form, in part or in whole, alone or as part of a derivative work, any work purchased from Kat. Please do not purchase this artwork if your intent is to sell or distribute it in digital form. For example, you may use the artwork as part of an Instagram Stories icon for your Instagram account. You may not use the artwork to make an Instagram Stories icon which you intend to sell or give away.

You may not claim copyright for the artwork, or otherwise imply that you are the sole creator of the work.

This license is non-transferable and does not extend to your customers or clients. They may not sell or otherwise redistribute the artwork in any form. If you are using this artwork in a design for a client who wishes to sell or distribute products that include the artwork, please purchase a copy of the artwork (and extended license if necessary) for that client.

This license is non-exclusive, meaning other purchasers may use the artwork in any way that is allowed by the license. The creator/copyright holder, Kat Landreth, may use this artwork in any way that is allowed by law. If you need exclusive work done (such as for a logo or brand design) please contact Kat, she would be happy to chat about your project.

## Examples:
This is not an exhaustive list of allowed and forbidden uses. Rather, the following examples serve to illustrate a few ways the artwork may or may not be used. If you have questions about your specific use, please contact Kat.

* You may print the artwork - as the sole design element or in combination with other art - onto a physical product such as t-shirts, coffee mugs, and greeting cards. You may produce up to 500 instances of items using that icon before you must purchase an extended license.
* You may not produce 500 t-shirts AND 500 mugs AND 500 greeting cards with the original license, as this is 1500 total units and exceeds the maximum allowance on the original license.
* You may not sell, give away, or upload to file sharing sites the digital version of the artwork on its own, as part of a set, or as a derivative work.
* You may not use an icon, SVG, or other design from Kat, alone or as part of a re-mixed composition, and then sell the resulting digital file.


## Copyright
The artist (Kat Landreth) reserves all moral and legal rights to the artwork. Copyright for the artwork remains with the artist (Kat Landreth). If you include a copyright notice in your online store or elsewhere, please consider adding a copyright notice for designs and products that include your purchased artwork to the effect of "[element] copyright Kat Landreth, all rights reserved". This is not required, but it is appreciated :)

This artwork is provided “as is” with no warranty regarding the suitability of the image for any purpose. The artist is not liable to the client or any person or entity for damages, costs or losses stemming from any usage of this image.
