This is a piece of found broken White Tail Deer antler that has been made into a pagan wall hanging. It is inlaid with bronze and turquoise cabachons cut by me in my lapidary shop. The dangles are mixed materials.

Each strand hanging from the antler is a combination of metal, bone, wood, glass and other beads, including quartz crystals and cut stone beads. The end and focal pieces are porcelain glazed with a thinned jade green glaze to show the stamped designs on each. Other focal pieces are fired bronze clay stamped with forest designs like the porcelain pieces, then polished, patina darkened and tied in place.

I wanted to do a piece honoring the role of prey animals in the wild as I did last year with "The Horned God's Blessing", but this year it is a wall hanging for a temple or home. It is not strictly a wind chime but still makes a lovely sound when the beads and focal points gently move in the wind. This is as durable a piece as I could make it, but it is NOT for outdoor use.

The whole antler is varnished and all thread points are glued. This should be a lovely piece of indoor decor for many, many years.
