Sister Berta Hummel Christmas Plate 1975 "Christmas Child", Limited Edition Berta Hummel Plate by SCHMID Made in West Germany, Christmas Display Plate

This Christmas plate is limited edition 1975 of a series portraying the authentic works of Sister Berta Hummel.

It is titled "Christmas Child" and it depicts the guardian angel is leading a cute little boy by holding hands.

Mrs. Viktoria Hummel , the artist's mother and legal heir, has chosen and authorized this subject for the 1975 Christmas Plate. It is taken from an original oil painting created by Berta Hummel as a gift for her aunt before she entered the Convent and is an early example of her abiding love for children.

This plate was made in West Germany with genuine German porcelain.

There is an attached wall hanger on the back of the plate and ready to be hung on the wall.

It measures 7 3/4" diameter and in very excellent condition without any scratches, chips or crazing.

This authentic original plate would be great for collector's items or perfect for special gift.
