I ordered this dress in white and it is well-made but definitely requires a slip dress to meet my modesty standards. I think I’m darker colors it could be worn alone as a lightweight summer dress. One thing I assumed, was that the waist seam was elastic based on the gathering. That wasn’t in the product description, just my own assumption. So I thought there would be some give at the waist and there isn’t, important to know if you are between sizes. I would order this dress again, but might go up to a medium for a looser summer time fit.
