→We try to use the copy/paste function from the personalization box on your order. We do NOT change the sequence you provide. →Check order: address, size, names, dates, initials & correct spelling. We have no idea who these items are going to or if the names or initials you provide are in the right order. →Full names are helpful. →Embroidery is at the top outside of sock(s) unless you pay to relocate. Not all socks will work. →Women's trend is first LAST middle, (sLs)(LAST-initial larger), but you may prefer another way. → Men's trend is first, middle, last (BLK) (all the same size), but list them as you would like. →Diamond/Circle Blk fonts are traditionally first LAST middle. →Back of embroidery is literally the back of the design.

Normally, you will follow the manufacturer's care instructions on the item itself. However, if we have added faux leather or fabric appliqué, please do not use a hot iron directly on these add-ons or any embroidery. There may occasionally be some water-soluble stabilizer film on the top of your embroidery. This will dissolve when dampened. Items may sometimes be damp due to the water-soluble top stabilizing film dissolving, as we try to ship quickly. Also, NEVER LEAVE BABIES UNATTENDED unless the manufacturer suggests the item you have purchased is rated for sleep.

Let's talk about font styles

→Font styles are pre-designed/purchased. All are unique and may not look traditional. →If your font/thread color is not what you ordered, if the gift is otherwise correct, we will do our best to offer a discount code for future purchases. →If you wanted ankle placement but didn't purchase to relocate, we cannot replace or refund. If you purchased to relocate to ankle and it isn't relocated, you will be refunded the relocation fees. →You may request a design proof on your order, but please reply to messages quickly, as we do not hold orders. →Unless we have stitched the wrong initials in error from another order, we cannot replace/refund; we will do our best to offer a discount code towards another purchase.

What happens when my order USPS tracking shows delivered but I can't seem to find my package?

*VISIT USPS.com for up-to-date (GPS tracking coordinates) info regarding shipments. Check within the household & neighbors. Call your local USPS ASAP; this will be key in recovering your package quickly. The longer you wait, the less likely for recovery. NKDs is not responsible for any USPS uninsured, damaged, late, lost, wrongfully delivered, refused, or returned shipments. We cannot intercept packages once we have shipped them or change an address after you place your order. If a package is returned or refused without prior authorization, no refund will be issued and forfeited. If the package is returned due to an address error by the buyer, the buyer is responsible for the new postage label, or forfeited.

Custom designed and personally crafted by NKDs and gift notes

We are truly a custom gift boutique. All items are made to order. We are not a vinyl heat press or screen printing store (we have NylaKelley Etsy shop for that). We offer machine embroidery, as well as ink-printed sock wrappers/note cards made from cardstock. We do not carry pre-made items in stock. Occasionally, we will have one or two items available in the last-chance section, we offer at a tremendous discount. →The gift message/notes that you type in your order are free. It is simply a printed note on copy paper, and we cannot edit or change it in any way. It is just 1 copy for the whole order. →We can sometimes offer custom note cards that we print and can include for additional purchase. →We ship in paper bags inside poly mailer.

Can I cancel an order?

Unfortunately, no we cannot cancel orders due to the nature of our business and our quicker-than-most turnarounds. We hope you can understand and please respect our policies in place prior to hitting the final submit button. All sales are final.

What if I didn't actually read any of the details on your listing or policies?

Understandably, we are not able to return, replace, refund, or remake an item simply because you didn't read the listing details or policies. Please take your time when ordering CUSTOM. orders.

What if I don't like the item once I get it?

Because of the nature of our business, all sales are final. If you receive an item and would prefer something different, please use the coupon code NKDTHANKS and re-order something more suitable.

What does USPS express shipping money back guarantee entail?

It sometimes allows you a refund of the qualified refund amount that USPS sets. This is NOT the shipping amounts that you pay, but rather the amount they "qualify" as refundable, sometimes due to unique situations. Each express order is different. Not all shipments qualify, and not all express packages deliver exactly when stated due to factors such as incorrect addresses, no access, inclement weather, misrouting, etc. Not all areas are in the USPS NDA deliverable area. Some areas do not offer USPS home delivery. Therefore, they do not process refunds in every situation. Refunds would be offered only when requested and if qualified. NKDs make no guaranteed delivery timelines.
